Between the Pages: A Journey Into Stories

This book was one of my favorite book to read. The reason why I decide to buy this book it because the title and the cover page really catch my attention. When I pick up this book from the book shelf and I read the synopsis its really make me curious about the story line. This book tells about a girl name Iris Hollow who has a two older sister that unquestionably strange. For me this book is really bombastic and I would recommend to my friends to read it. For someone who loves fairy tale this book is the one. I never felt regret buying this book because it worth every penny and worth every minute. I will carrying this book when I had road trip either with my family or friends. I even carry this book to workplace and I will read it during my breaktime. The best part I love is when Iris and her sister Vivi found a letter from their other sister Grey who were found missing and decide to looking for her. The reason why I love this part is because its really give me sci-fic vibe.

The whole story about this book were about a sisters that used to disappeared on a Scottish city street only to return a month later with no memory of what had happened to them or where they'd been. And more troubling their appearance start to change where their blues eyes turn to black, and black hair turn to white. When they grew older they felt odd, and eerie occurrences seemed to follow in their wake. This kind of story line really make me felt eager to know what happen in the next chapter every time I read and also make me imagine the whole story.

This one is clearly a fiction book. I decide to buy this book because and that time I was so into Dracula or Vampire thingy. This is all started when my friend ask me to join her for a movie marathon at her house to watch twilight. This book tells about a guy name Jonathan Harker who is naive and earnest that decide to travel to Transylvinia only to organize the state of the infamous Count Dracula at his crumbling castle. When we talk about Dracula a place called Transylvinia will come up to our mind. From this author story Brahm Stockers, tale of Count Dracula caught the imagination of a Victorian audience and continues to appeal to readers to this day. This was the reason Stoker was inspired to write this book. This book is really full of mystery and horror when Jonathan got trapped by Dracula and his subjected to all manner of frightening and supernatural horror. Yet, Jonathan manage to escape, only to be followed back to England. This part is very intrigued because  Dracula decide to arrives in the form of satanic beast. This really give me the goosebumps when I read it because I could imagine it since I see a lots of horror movies.

Overall, this book is the book for a people who seek an supernatural horror story. For me this book is really good book and not suitable for children below 12 to read because it contains a very dark story line.

This book for me is like treasure. This is all because I used to be super curious about Hyde and Jekyll. Hyde and Jekyll can be refers as a person who has a Dissociative Identity Disorder. To be clarify as a person who has two persona at a time it also can be more than two. Basically, this book tells about Dr Jekyll who is mild manner that transform into the cruel and despicable Mr Hyde. It is not just a fictional book character it seems to give a message to its audience who has read this book about awareness of this Dissociative Identity Disorder or Split Personality. This is because its tell how struggle a person who has this Split Personality issues to continue his basis life and to get along with social community. Through, this book I find that a person like Dr Jekyll will locked him self from people just because he afraid that he could harm a person either a person he loved or random people when he turn into Mr Hyde. 

From this book it clearly tell that this Disorder is not easy to handle because we never know when he or she will change their personality. Even Dr Jekyll had to make a potion only to prevent his self to become Mr Hyde because he know how hideous his attitude can be. Moral of the story if we ever met a person who has a split identity we need to be more patient and need to be a person that can understand them in fact we need to support them to fight their emotions.
